As TakeNote gears up for the next semester,
we are looking for qualified candidates to fill notetaker and editor
positions.
HEAD EDITOR JOB DESCRIPTION
The position requires a Saturday afternoon commitment from approximately 10-6pm throughout the semester (although many sessions end early). The Head Editor is in charge of four other editors and must organize and distribute the notes to them in a timely fashion. All editors are responsible for properly and efficiently editing TakeNote lecture notes for content, grammar and formatting prior to printing. The Head Editor serves as the coordinator for the weekend printing and reports directly to the TakeNote Manager. Graduate students preferred.
Pay, for the Head Editor position, starts at $70 per Saturday session.

TAKENOTE EDITOR JOB DESCRIPTION
TakeNote Editors closely edit TakeNote lecture notes for content, grammar, and formatting before the notes are printed. Graduate students are preferred but not absolutely necessary. The position requires someone who has exceptional grammatical skills and keen attention to detail. An editor must also have a strong knowledge base in their area of study. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word is an absolute must! The required work schedule is every Saturday from 11am to approximately 5pm, although many sessions end earlier depending on the number of classes that require editing. Pay is $40 per editing session.

NOTETAKER JOB DESCRIPTION
The position requires attending undergraduate lectures, taking very detailed
notes, and delivering them in a cohesive typed document to our office every
Saturday by 9am. As you know, TakeNote prides itself on quality, so we hire
only the best. We aim to hire graduate students, however undergrad TAs for the course are also qualified. In some cases, seniors that have successfully completed the course may apply as well. We pay by the lecture
hour (50 minutes), and pay starts at $18 per lecture hour.

TAKENOTE FLYERER
Duties for this position will vary, but will include distributing TakeNote information materials to students after classes and may include campus and mailbox flyering. This position has very flexible hours and can easily fit into an academic schedule. With this position, you can do as much or as little as you want!! It's a great way to earn some extra cash. There are several open positions and pay will vary based upon responsibility level.

TAKENOTE ASSISTANT
The position requires strong analytical and computer skills as well as keen attention to detail. Responsibilities include data entry, administration related to the production of lecture notes, marketing assistance, and the production of financial reports. Strong work ethic and initiative are a must! The hours for training will be coordinated with the current TakeNote Assistant. The position will require 10-15 hours/week, but the hours are flexible Monday-Friday. Please note that the first and last few weeks of each semester will require an increase in hours.
